Can I swap the radio card in my wireless router?

In general, no. Earlier routers many times used PC card or CardBus cards as their radio section. But that practice was abandoned due to cost pressures. Most routers have the radio integrated into the main circuit board.

Even if you could swap the card, you would still need firmware that works with the card.
