Is 802.11n backward compatible with Atheros Super-G?
Throughput enhancements such as Atheros' Super-G and Broadcom's Afterburner are not part of the 802.11g standard. Draft 802.11n products will interoperate with products based on these technologies, but will fall back to using standard 802.11g speeds and protocols.
