3. please help me find the driver for my Sony vaio laptop pcg- v505f/b model. need it badly for my wireless and lan card.
   the original model was made in Japan.

   when i reformat it, i forgot to back up the drivers, because it was a japanese language..

   also, the audio driver was not installed
   please help me….

   1. Sony PCG-V505f/b wireless LAN card seems to be the Intel Wireless LAN 2100 3B. So you can try the Intel 2100 driver download from here:
      http://www.wireless-driver.com/intel-wireless-2100-windows-driver-software/

      and I found the Sony update Program in the official website, it can automatic update software for your VAIO notebook, but I haven’t tested it. So I’m not sure whether the software can install the audio driver for you.

8. oh, nerd, I need to know the audio model. so tell me the hardware ID of the audio card.

   Device Manager->audio(maybe media device or unknown device)->double click it->Details->Hardware IDs, that’s it. click it to select and “Ctrl+C” can copy it.

11. Don’t worry, try this freeware – Unknown Device Identifier, http://www.zhangduo.com/udi.html, it can help you to determine what chipset of the audio and video card. The PnpID is just hardware ID.
